Robux to USD Calculator: Real Prices, Best Deals and Developer Rates

Robux is the premium virtual currency powering the entire Roblox economy, used by over 70 million daily active users worldwide to purchase avatar accessories, game passes, private servers, premium experiences, developer products and animations. Whether you are a player budgeting your purchases, a parent monitoring spending, or a developer calculating potential earnings through the Developer Exchange program, understanding the real dollar value of Robux is essential. This calculator uses verified June 2026 pricing from four major store regions to show exact costs, optimal purchase strategies, gift card values and tiered DevEx cashout rates for any Robux amount.

Purchase Rate: ~$0.0125 per Robux (varies by pack size)
DevEx Standard: $0.0038 per Earned Robux, earnings since Sep 5, 2025 ($3.80 per 1K)
DevEx US 18+ Spend: $0.0054 per Earned Robux, since Jun 8, 2026
DevEx Legacy: $0.0035 per Earned Robux, earned before Sep 5, 2025
Marketplace Tax: 30% on creator sales

Best Pack: 10,000 R$ = $99.99 ($10.00/1K)
Worst Pack: 800 R$ = $9.99 ($12.49/1K)

Understanding Robux Purchase Tiers and Value

Roblox offers five standard purchase tiers: 400 Robux for $4.99, 800 for $9.99, 1,700 for $19.99, 4,500 for $49.99 and 10,000 for $99.99. The per-unit cost mostly falls as packs get bigger, but not at every step: the 800 pack works out at $12.49 per thousand Robux, slightly more than the $12.47 of the 400 pack, while the $99.99 tier costs just $10.00 per thousand, a twenty percent saving over the 400 pack. Because the ladder is not perfectly ordered, the per-1K column in the results is the number to compare. The calculator fills your target from the largest pack downwards and also shows the cheapest single pack that covers it, so you can weigh the two; that is not always the absolute cheapest combination.

Roblox Premium to Roblox Plus: What Changed in 2026

Roblox Premium closed to new subscribers on April 30, 2026, when the new Roblox Plus subscription launched at $4.99 per month. The long-standing ten percent bonus on Robux purchases was discontinued for all subscribers on May 30, 2026, which is why this calculator no longer models a purchase bonus. Existing Premium members who keep their subscription retain the monthly Robux stipend and trading perks, but they cannot resubscribe if they cancel. Roblox Plus takes a different approach: instead of bonus Robux it gives a 10% discount on avatar and in-game item spending, rising to 20% after three consecutive subscribed months, plus unlimited private servers and fee-free Robux transfers to other accounts.

Gift Cards: Alternative Purchase Method

Roblox gift cards provide an alternative to direct credit card purchases. Available at retailers worldwide in denominations from $10 to $100 in the US, they can be redeemed on roblox.com for Robux. The key advantage of gift cards is avoiding mobile app store surcharges. Purchasing through iOS or Android apps routes payment through Apple and Google, which take their platform cut. Gift cards redeemed on the web bypass this entirely. Common gift card values and their Robux equivalents: $10 gives 800 Robux, $25 gives 2,000, $50 gives 4,500 and $100 gives 10,000.

Developer Exchange: Turning Game Revenue into Real Money

The Developer Exchange program allows Roblox game creators to convert earned Robux into US dollars. Since September 5, 2025 the standard rate is $0.0038 per Robux, or $3.80 per thousand. Eligible spend by US players who verified their age as 18 or older converts at $0.0054 per Robux since June 8, 2026, while Robux earned before September 2025 stays at the older $0.0035 rate. To qualify you need at least 30,000 earned Robux, a verified email address, a valid DevEx portal account and good standing with Roblox terms of service. Only Robux earned through game monetization qualifies. Purchased Robux, gift card Robux and stipend Robux cannot be exchanged. Developers can submit one cashout request per calendar month. At the standard rate, earning $1,000 through DevEx requires approximately 263,158 earned Robux. Payments are processed through Tipalti and typically arrive within a few weeks of approval. For the dated rate history and change timeline, see our Roblox DevEx rates reference.

Regional Pricing Differences

Roblox adjusts pricing by region based on local purchasing power. Turkey offers some of the most competitive pricing globally, with the 10,000 Robux pack costing approximately 2,999.99 TL. Brazilian players pay in Reais with the same pack at R$549.90. European pricing in Euros tends to be slightly higher than USD equivalents due to VAT inclusion, with the 10,000 pack at approximately 109.99 EUR. These regional differences mean the real cost per Robux varies significantly by country. This calculator supports four regions so players can compare pricing and understand the true value in their local currency.

The 10,000 Robux pack offers 20% better value per Robux than the 400 pack. Plan purchases to buy bigger.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does 1,000 Robux cost?

Roblox does not sell exactly 1,000 Robux. The cheapest way to clear 1,000 is the 800 pack plus the 400 pack: $14.98 for 1,200 Robux, leaving 200 spare. Per 1,000 Robux the packs range from $12.49 (the 800 pack) down to $10.00 (the 10,000 pack).

What is the best Robux pack to buy?

The 10,000 Robux pack at $99.99 offers the best rate at $10.00 per 1,000 Robux. The worst rate is the 800 pack at $12.49 per 1K, just behind the 400 pack at $12.47, so the ladder is not perfectly ordered; compare the per-1K column before buying.

What happened to Roblox Premium?

Premium closed to new subscribers on April 30, 2026, and its 10% Robux purchase bonus ended for everyone on May 30, 2026. Existing subscribers keep their monthly Robux stipend. The replacement, Roblox Plus ($4.99/month), gives a 10% discount on item spending (20% after three consecutive months) instead of bonus Robux.

How does DevEx work?

Developer Exchange lets game creators cash out Earned Robux. The standard rate is $0.0038 per Robux ($3.80 per 1,000) for Robux earned since September 5, 2025. Eligible spend by verified 18+ US players pays $0.0054 since June 8, 2026, and Robux earned before September 2025 pays $0.0035. You need 30,000+ earned Robux and good standing. One cashout per month maximum.

Do gift cards give more Robux?

Gift cards redeemed on roblox.com give the same base Robux as direct purchases. However, they avoid mobile app store fees, so redeeming on the web is never worse value.

Why is Robux cheaper in some countries?

Roblox uses regional pricing adjusted for local purchasing power. Turkey offers up to 40% cheaper Robux than the US. Brazil also has significantly lower prices in BRL.
