Roblox DevEx Rates (2025-2026)
The Developer Exchange (DevEx) program lets Roblox creators convert Earned Robux into real money. Since mid-2026 there are three rates to know, depending on when the Robux was earned and who spent it. This page tracks the official rates with dates and sources, so you can cite a number and know which period it belongs to.
Current Rates
| Tier | USD per Robux | Applies to |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | $0.0038 | Earned Robux cashed out on or after Sep 5, 2025 (10 AM PT) |
| US 18+ | $0.0054 | Eligible purchases by US players age-verified as 18 or older |
| Legacy | $0.0035 | Earned Robux from before the September 2025 rate change |
Cash-out requires a minimum of 30,000 Earned Robux: $114 at the standard rate, $162 if it all qualified for the US 18+ rate. 100,000 Earned Robux converts to $380 standard, $540 at the US 18+ rate, or $350 at the legacy rate.
Rate Change Timeline
| Date | Change |
|---|---|
| Jun 8, 2026 | Higher $0.0054 rate introduced for eligible purchases made by US players who verified their age as 18+ (ID or facial age estimation). |
| May 30, 2026 | The Premium 10% bonus on Robux purchases ended for all subscribers. It applied to buying Robux, never to DevEx cash-out rates. |
| Apr 30, 2026 | Premium closed to new subscribers as Roblox Plus launched at $4.99/month, offering 10-20% discounts on item spending instead of a purchase bonus. |
| Sep 5, 2025 | Standard DevEx rate increased from $0.0035 to $0.0038 per Earned Robux. |
Earned vs Purchased Robux
Only Earned Robux qualifies for DevEx: revenue from game passes, developer products, subscriptions, private servers, and engagement payouts. Robux you bought yourself cannot be cashed out. Note the built-in spread: players buy Robux at roughly $0.0125 each (the $4.99 pack of 400), while creators cash out at $0.0038, so about 30% of the purchase price reaches the developer at the standard rate before taxes.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much is 100,000 Robux through DevEx?
$380 at the standard rate. If all of it came from eligible US 18+ purchases after Jun 8, 2026, it would be $540. Earned Robux from before Sep 5, 2025 pays $350.
Do Plus subscribers get a higher DevEx rate?
No. DevEx rates are identical for every creator, and a subscription has never changed them. The Premium 10% bonus that ended on May 30, 2026 applied to buying Robux, not to developer earnings. Premium Payouts, the separate program that pays creators for engagement time from Premium members, is unrelated to the DevEx conversion rate.
Who qualifies for the $0.0054 rate?
It applies per purchase, not per developer: revenue from developer products, passes, subscriptions, and private servers bought by US players who verified their age as 18 or older. Other revenue from the same game still pays the standard rate.
